About Us

Every office wishes it had a better training program and manual. So did we. How do you efficiently and effectively teach new employees all of the terminology, processes, treatment protocols, conditions, billing, and coding without overwhelming? How do you set expectations of interacting with patients and staff? How do you let them practice and master skills before working with patients? Especially when your office is short staffed and there isn't time to properly train. Who is the best trainer in the office and does he or she have time to do it properly? How do you organize and prioritize training?

Throwing the new hire to the wolves again?

Our struggles led to developing this course by combining the expertise of practicing doctors, college professors, and education technology to create a better program.

The goal was to create a program that is self-study and productive, provides exposure to a variety of terminology, and could quickly bring new employees up to speed by lunch. In this training, they will get better training in the first few hours than most offices provide the first couple of weeks.

Our Story

Dr. Carson Robertson has been practicing and operating Alpha Chiropractic & Physical Therapy since 2005. For eight years of that time, he also taught anatomy & physiology at two colleges.

Teaching required him to take a step back and look at how others learn, and how to accelerate that learning.

Education and training require an organized system of providing information and then applying it.  He has combined this system with today’s self-study technology to better prepare chiropractic assistants the first week on the job.

Why wait months to go to training, when relevant training can be performed immediately when it is the most critical and effective for the student and office.

Meet Our Contributors

Many people have worked together to create a curriculum that meets state requirements and teaches the skills for today's offices. Our contributors currently work in clinics providing chiropractic, physiotherapy, and medical treatments; and they know what is asked of today's chiropractic assistant.

What Our Students Have to Say

Short modules let me work at my own pace, and the videos were informative. I did most of it on my phone to save time.
Kevin
It was much better to work a lesson or two over lunch than spend 30 hours of my weekend in a classroom. I learned some every week instead of being overwhelmed in a classroom.
Tina
Short 10 -15 minute lessons let me complete a little bit each day, and made it a better learning experience. The repetition from the quizzes made sure I learned the important information.
Frank
It was a much more enjoyable experience than what my coworkers talked about in their weekend training sessions. I felt like I learned valuable information.
